Birmingham Pride Main Stage

This year for the first time, the festival main stage will be hosted at the new Smithfield Live site. Situated metres away from Birmingham’s Gay Village.

Headlining the weekend are Cheryl, Eve, Riton and Katy B! If that wasn’t enough, head over to the famous Circus big top and enjoy DJ sets from Jodie Harsh, Melé and Barely Legal. You can find the full line up for all the festival stages here.

Birmingham Pride Parade

The standout aspect of the entire weekend, the Pride Parade will welcome tens of thousands of people to walk, march and celebrate with up to 75,000 spectators. The theme of this year’s march is for equality and justice, with the ultimate goal of bringing universal injustice to an end. The amazing thing is the parade is free to attend! So, pick up your flags and banners, then make your way to Victoria Square for an 11am start on Saturday.

Village Street Party

Round the corner from the main stage celebrations, the Village Street Party provides a safe environment for people to enjoy food and drinks from the city’s favourite LGBTQ+ bars and clubs. Equator, The Fox, The Loft and Missing bar will be there, along with venues outside the Pride map only a short walk away. All the venues are hosting their own celebrations across the weekend, you can find the full list here.

If you are planning to attend with your family, The Community Village Green will provide a quieter and accessible area for you to enjoy. Live entertainment, street food, bars, acoustic music and performers will welcome you to this free event. It’s taking place on Friday evening between 7pm-10pm and is a ticketed event, so make sure you order yours!
